"If there’s something the French are renowned for it’s romance and that means French bedrooms are often more swoon worthy than other styles of bedrooms. Now the funny part for me is that I’m not really into Country French or even French design, save for the exquisite modern designs. But on a recent High Point Market trip I was introduced to a line called French Heritage and I was smitten.
I gauge a swoon worthy bedroom as one that I’d be delighted to spend a night or more in. It beckons me with softness, luxury, and layers of pattern, even when it’s on a bed skirt and the bench. I am thoroughly bored by anything in all white or all beige. Adding even a metallic spark, a punch of black and white, or gleaming gold is so much more interesting."
