The Julian Price Showhouse will be benefiting Preservation Greensboro and is presented by Southern Home. A special thank you to Designer Debbie Gomulka of Debbie Gomulka Designs who is using our pieces for the dining room in this beautiful home.
About the Historic Home
" "Hillside" was originally built in 1929 for Julian Price, president of Jefferson Standard Life Insurance, by the famed architect Charles Hartmann. The historic home is now listed as a county landmark and is also on the National Register of Historic Places. This home will proudly host 28 designers as they transform each space to their own, while maintaining this history and emphasizing the interior architecture. The esteemed mansion is a showstopper with rough stucco, herringbone brick, false-half timbered walls, massive brick chimneys with articulated flues and clay pots, and an asymmetrical massing of gables, wall dormers, and stair tower.
